About the Role
We?re looking for an experiencedDevOps Engineerto join our growing technology team. You?ll play a key role in building, optimising, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring our development and deployment pipelines are secure, scalable, and efficient.
While strongAzureexperience is preferred, we?re also open to candidates with deep AWS expertise who are happy to work in a multi-cloud environment. Any background inC#orPythondevelopment will be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure (or AWS).
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application builds, testing, and deployments.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration between infrastructure and code.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Maintain and enhance security, compliance, and resilience across environments.
- Support automation initiatives to improve development workflows and reduce manual tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience withAzure(Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, etc.) or AWS equivalents.
- Proven track record of designing and managing scalable cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Proficiency withinfrastructure as code(Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting or development skills inC#orPython.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Exposure to serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security best practices in cloud environments.
