They are now expanding their IT function and are looking for anIT Deskside Support / IT Projects Engineerto join ahands-on, collaborative technology team. This is anon-site rolewith significant exposure tolarge-scale IT projects, including enterprise systems.
What you?ll be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality, on-site deskside support to internal users.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues within agreed SLAs.
- Taking ownership of incidents while coordinating with external vendors when required.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, asset records, and ticket updates.
- Supporting finance-related systems and assisting with supplier onboarding.
- Contributing to the rollout of internal query and workflow management tools.
- Assisting with the delivery, testing, and rollout of major ERP initiatives, including automation technologies.
What they?re looking for
- 3+ years? experience in adeskside or IT support role.
- Strong experience supportingMicrosoft Office / Office 365environments.
- Solid knowledge ofWindows 10and end-user device support.
- Proven troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Exposure tonetwork infrastructure(switches, routers, access points, patching).
- Printer and peripheral hardware experience.
- Previous involvement withERP platforms(SAP highly advantageous).
- Experience withEDI systemsor finance-related IT processes.
