What You?ll Be Doing
- Installing, configuring, and administering messaging queue managers in Linux environments
- Managing queues, channels, clustering, listeners, and high-availability configurations
- Monitoring messaging platforms and troubleshooting queue depth, channel failures, and performance issues
- Supporting and maintaining secure messaging environments including certificates and encrypted communications
- Troubleshooting production and application issues related to messaging platforms
- Performing capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing
- Supporting event-driven messaging platforms and broker technologies from an infrastructure perspective
- Contributing to automation and operational improvements using scripting tools
What We?re Looking For
- 6?8+ years experience administering enterprise messaging platforms in distributed environments
- Strong experience working within Linux systems
- Knowledge of messaging platform architecture, clustering, and performance optimisation
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments
- Experience with monitoring tools and system performance analysis
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Shell, Python, or Ansible)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Exposure to automation tools such as Jenkins
- Experience supporting event-driven messaging or broker platforms
