About the Role:
We are seeking an experiencedNetwork EngineerwithCCNP-levelexpertise to join our team on a6-month daily rate contractinLimerick. This role requires strong skills inrouting, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, andPalo Alto firewalls. The successful candidate will work onsite, collaborating with the IT team to support, optimize, and secure network infrastructure, includingpatching and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and troubleshootCisco network infrastructure(routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN).
- Manage and optimizePalo Alto firewalls, ensuring robust security policies and configurations.
- Performpatching and firmware upgradesacross networking and security infrastructure.
- Support network performance monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical projects.
- Ensure network compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- CCNP-levelexpertise in Cisco networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN).
- Experience withPalo Alto firewalls(configuration, security policies, troubleshooting).
- Strong experience inpatching and firmware upgradesacross network infrastructure.
- Understanding ofnetwork security principlesand best practices.
- Experience withenterprise networking environmentsand troubleshooting complex network issues.
- Ability to work onsite5 days per weekin Limerick.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience withCisco ISE, DNA Center, and Meraki.
- Familiarity withcloud networking (AWS/Azure).
- Strong scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Ansible).
Contract Details:
- 6-month contract, with potential for extension.
- Daily rate contract(350-425pd DOE).
- Onsite rolein Limerick (5 days per week).
