Senior Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Performance Engineerto join a leading global organization. In this role, you?ll take ownership of performance engineering efforts for cloud-native applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate across teams, and lead initiatives to build best-in-class solutions that meet evolving technical and business demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance engineering strategies forcloud-nativeandreal-time systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to driveperformance improvements and system scalability
- Use tools such asJMeter, Java Microbenchmark Harness (JMH), Dynatrace, and equivalent APM tools
- Engineer microservices and network solutions usingJava, Spring Boot, Containers (PaaS)
- Implement and optimizeCI/CD pipelinesfor testing and deployment in high-availability environments
- Lead performance benchmarking, load testing, and bottleneck analysis
- Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient application delivery through continuous monitoring and performance tuning
- Document performance strategies and contribute to quality assurance throughautomated testing
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive technical excellence in the team
Requirements
- 7+ yearsof hands-on experience in performance engineering roles
- Proven expertise inJava, Spring Boot, Containers, andmicroservice architecture
- Strong knowledge ofnetwork protocols, cloud-native development, and secure communication
- Hands-on experience withperformance and load testing tools(JMeter, JMH)
- Familiarity withmessaging systems(e.g., NATS, Kafka)
- Experience withDynatrace or other APM tools
- Proficient withCI/CD practices, automation frameworks, and version control (GitHub, CircleCI, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Agile certifications such asSAFepreferred
