We are looking for a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Java Developer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, building robust and scalable applications, while gaining exposure to modern tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java applications.
- Work with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
- Use version control tools (e.g., Git) effectively in daily development.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1?3 years of experience with Java development.
- Familiarity with PHP (commercial or academic experience).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Exposure to frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Experience with containerisation tools (e.g., Docker).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT).
- Kubernetes knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React).
