This role sits at the intersection offrontend engineering, product experience, and platform modernization, and will play a critical role in shaping the future of a core, user-facing application used within regulated, high-impact environments.
This is ahands-on frontend engineering role. You will bridge product vision and engineering execution, translating design systems and user requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Professional experience with a modern JavaScript web framework/library - 4-5yrs +.
- Experienced in writing automated unit and integration tests.
- Professional experience using Git.
- Excellent JavaScript concepts knowledge (ES5, ES6+).
- Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with web package bundlers (Webpack, Lerna, Rollup).
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of React 16+
- Experience with Behaviour Driven Development
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with containerisation
