Senior PHP Developer
We are seeking a skilledPHP Developerto design, develop, and maintain innovative web applications. This role focuses on using modern PHP frameworks, front-end technologies, and database systems to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, enhancing existing systems, and contributing to the development of new features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust applications using PHP and modern frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with strong documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deploy new features.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to maintain reliability.
- Develop and maintain database schemas in MySQL.
- Work on front-end development to ensure smooth integration with back-end systems.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Provide support and ongoing maintenance for existing systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years? professional experience in PHP development.
- A Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Slim, Laravel, or Symfony.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Solid grasp of OOP principles and best practices.
- Experience in MySQL database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with Shopify development.
- Competence in version control systems such as Git.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a passion for clean, readable code.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles.
