About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivatedVB.NET Developerto join our team in Dublin. This is a full-time, office-based position suited to someone with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with company stakeholders to develop, maintain, and support internal business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET.
- Work with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, to build and optimize queries and procedures.
- Develop and integrate APIs to support application features and external services.
- Contribute to application support, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- (Nice to have) Design and manage reports using Crystal Reports.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong experience inVB.NET development.
- Proficiency inSQL, with good exposure toPostgreSQL.
- Experience working withAPIs(RESTful and/or SOAP).
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellentverbal and written communicationskills.
- (Desirable) Experience withCrystal Reportsor similar reporting tools.
